Greetings to everyone!  Thanks for stopping by to visit.

    I have been teaching some really great students the past few months and we are all having a great time.  Unfortunately, a lot of my students are "snow birds" and they will be headed back to their summer homes soon.  I will look forward to having them back next fall.

    I will be calling a benefit dance in Cottonwood on March 14th for the American Cancer Society Relay for Life event.  Since Pat was diagnosed last year with early stage breast cancer (she is in remission), this event has become very special to us.  Pat has made a quilted wall hanging that is being raffled off at the dance.  She has made it with a large pink ribbon on it and it is called "Out of Darkness Comes Hope."  We hope to raise a few dollars with the raffle.  If you are near Cottonwood on March 14th, we would love to see you at the dance.

    Pat and I are also doing last minute preparations for our upcoming cruises.  We are cruising for 14 days from Sydney, Australia to Auckland, New Zealand and then cruising from Auckland to Honolulu, HI.  We are taking a group of square dancers with us so we plan on a really fun time.  We will be dancing at a square dance just outside Sydney at a dance put on by the local callers' association.  We are also going to dance with two clubs when we get to Hawaii.  We anticipate making some wonderful new friends.

    We are also bragging grandparents!  One granddaughter has just been accepted to Arizona State University.  Yeah!  This was her first choice.  She lives in Glendale, California now so we hope to be seeing her a lot more often in the next four years.  Congratulations, Megan!!
